RealPlayer - how do you get sound???!

Have removed it and re-installed it, but still no sound. Sound works everywhere else on my laptop, just not on RP. I need it as I'm studying an OU course (and have lost 2 days-worth of studying just trying to watch/listen to a DVD ROM). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, but they're not working. Have now installed another programme and it works!
