Finding out a mobiles number

I seem to recall there is some code number with # and * keys that you can put itno a mobile for it to tell you it's number? Anyone know it if this is true?

Can't you just phone someone else's phone from it and it will come up on the caller display?

Yes but I haven't got credit on it till tomorrow now, and really need to have the number now to tell someone.

It's an LG no idea of model, and it's on t mobile.

The code above didn't do anything sorry but thank you!

Went to top it up this am and was int he queue and looking more closely at the top up card, and it was on there
