Looking into getting mobile broadband...has anyone signed up to 'Fon', either directly or through BT?

i highly recommomend going into carphone warehouse if you have one around they match and do better deals than anyone i got a free laptop with mine no catch trust me and no i don,t work for them just shopped around and glad i did !!it won,t hurt to just enquire !!

Yes through BT.
As a BT customer I get unlimited minutes in BT Openzones and 500 Mins in BT Hotspots.
No trouble at all, more and more BT customers are signing up and its great being able to pull up and surf...
Not sure how it works as a Fon Customer.
Is it just like 3 mobile broadband, if you can get a phone signal you can surf?
I need to get to a Openzone/Hotspot to connect, IYKWIM.

Thanks! Debz - gaaaaaaaahhhh! I'm up to my eyeballs in techy stuff and now just the thought of another option has made my head explode!

Undercover - great, it's really useful to have your positive feedback. I suppose it's not a huge outlay if I buy the dongle, unlike signing up to an overpriced, overlong contract with a mobile network. I might just give it a shot.
