switch off then on again.
happened to me last week, you've activated the minor keyboard whatsit. Turning off then on worked for me.
There's prob a tech way to do it but I wouldn't know!

Try Numlock if it's a laptop.

Otherwise there may be a thing on the taskbar to select language keyboard layout, but I think it's the num lock thing

Do you have a blue button that says Fn?

Try pressing that if you have

It is the num lock thing I just tried it and first got the t6 instead of to and then when pressed it again, it all went back.
Have you done it?

Ok check if any of your keys are stuck down. Especially the 'special' ones like shift/ctrl/fn etc

Also I think laptop keys tend to have more than one function. Maybe numlock only works after you press FN or something. (I don't have a laptop handy to try it)

Does the numlock light change when you press the numlock button?

Well maybe the key has got fluff under it (should see the rubbish that gets in mine) and it's not letting it work. In that case I'd expect rattling the key would do it though.

Now if you see if you press fn and numLk together, something magical happens.

I quite enjoyed being enigmatic for a time there.

There's a word for when your offspring can accidentally discover something about your computer in 30 seconds of random bashing when 3 hours of studying leaves you baffled. I think it's 'farkingannoyingism'.

Thank you, you wonderful people.
