I have just visited a solicitor's website to get a quote, and the 'not secure' warning came up. How seriously should I take this?

It may simply be a problem with their security certificate. Does the website come up with the padlock symbol if you prefix the address with HTTPS?
If the symbol does appear then you're good to go - if not then I'd advise caution.

From the browser. The message, with an exclamation mark, appears in front of the URL.
