Scam for dvla

I had a text from dvla today which was a scam but I clicked the link stupidly.

On my iPhone after clicking the link it stated could not establish a secure connection so did not open the page. I have since found out that on the website it takes you to it has a virus which can then acces your data.

My question is if I didn’t connect to the page does that mean my data on my phone is safe?

Because of Apple limitations you cannot scan an iPhone for app based viruses.

For browser based malware you should install malwarebytes for iOS

If your browser refused to open the page you have not been infected.
