Facebook help?!

I've noticed the last few days that if I comment on one friends page, another friend will also reply. These 2 people don't know each other and aren't on each other's friends list. It would appear that conversations I'm having with other people are showing on my timeline for others to reply. Same happened a couple of days ago with different friends.

Is this a new thing cause I've never noticed it before?? It's probably down to others privacy settings but does anyone have any idea how to change my settings so friends can't see what I'm posting on other people's wall?? I've gone through my settings (my profile is as secure/private as possible) but I can't find anything. It feels like I'm having a chat with a friend and someone else is listening in! It's not chat that needs to be sent by pm but it's annoying!

If it's on someone else's timeline then it is down to their privacy settings I think. I always assume that any comment I make on someone else's post can be seen by anyone.

Thanks for replying. Thought that might be the case. Odd that I've only noticed this now. Wonder if FB have changed things slightly.
