How is the battery life on Nook HD+, Nexus 10, Galaxy Tab, Kindle Fire HD, I pad?

I think the Nook, Nexus and Galaxy are supposed to last 9 hours whilst the Kindle Fire and Ipads are supposed to last 10 hours.

How do they actually compare in RL? Most use would be playing games, internet surfing and watching videos.
