Rabbit Proofing Borders - stylish ideas

My aliums and dahlias in my borders were ravaged by rabbits during the summer. The joys of living near open fields!

Does anyone have any solutions for rabbit proofing borders. About to start planting bulbs and i dont want to waste anymore money.

I thought of willow edging but the size of the borders make it eye wateringly expensive. I could just do chicken wire but it would really ruin the look of the borders.

Any thoughts appreciated
