Concrete fence post removal

Hello! Can anyone advise on how these can be removed? They are the solid concrete posts with the iron rods dunning through.

I think you'd probably have to dig them out. They are usually concreted in about 18". Heavy enough work but easier than breaking them.

Eek! Okay, thats what i shall do then. It's just tricky because next door practically built their garage on the fence.. they even had to hack the back of the concrete post out to build it.

Try and dig round as much as possible and try rocking from side to side.

I came on here to advise buying a mattock, and then saw I had already done so.

I am clearly a woman with a certain level of mattock obsession. Confused
