Does anyone know how to stop the little blighters digging up my lawn, not that you can see it now, it's covered in snow!

Ha, my stepdad has just been complaining about the same thing. Unfortunately for both of you I have no idea how to stop them.

I'd love to have badgers in the garden.

They are after the larvae under the grass, PIL has same problem. Info on badgers in gardens here that may be useful.
