Can I sow potatoes now?

Kind of too late a question as already put some in, but got 12 more seeds and a bed ready, but just read in my book that its too early!!??

When the soil is still very cold they just sit there doing nothing. As long as it's not too wet they'll be fine.

Have you chitted them first?
If you plant them now and there is a frost the new shoots will be killed off and you will lose them.

Don't plant out until after the last frost - it's a late spring this year, we had frost last night (Gloucestershire)

Some had chitted but some didn't, I don't think there's been frost here (sw)! [worried and crossing all digits].
