I played 'Chilli Roulette' for a local charity and now have an unidentified plant that may be outgrowing its pot. I don't know if it is a scotch bonnet, habenero, or one of the other two varieties it might be but I've forgotten about.
It's been growing in a pot on my kitchen window sill, occasionally gets a white flower or two, but nothing happens after that. How long do chillis take to produce anything? It's getting quite tall now (around 2 feet I think) and I'm wondering if it needs a new pot? Current pot is about 10 inches in diameter and 10 inches deep. Is there some good rule of thumb about how big a pot you need?
Please help, I normally kill every plant I touch, and I would really like to save this one.
