I'm coming to the end of my third year (PT course, so I'm halfway through), and I feel I've hit a wall. I'm doing a science degree in a subject that I'm interested in, but I've come to understand over this past three years that I'm no scientist. My background is arts and the more science I do the more I realise how much of an arts person I am. I'm not exact by nature, I'm approximate, I like to elaborate, I love language and interpretation, I hate maths as much as I ever did and I just don't know if I can keep doing this for another three years. I'm also not sure what the hell I'll do with this degree if I ever finish it. I'll be 48 by then and I can't see myself working as a scientist or taking an entry level job. Argh! I feel utterly lost and fed up.
