Hi,
I'm thinking about taking some A Levels online. Just for interest really. Done a few of the Future Learn type ones, but they don't go into enough detail for me, and I'd like a qualification at the end. Can anyone recommend any good online sites where the qualifications are 'real' and I'd get a good level of teaching? I'm looking at psychology and sociology, mainly.
Thanks

OU. Can't beat it. Well respected. Non pay but no qualifications Mooks are worth looking at. Used a lot by education staff for CPD credits. If you haven't found the TED lectures they are well worth it from 5 mins to and hour. On all range of subjects. Used a lot in art and cultural lectures.

I'm studying for an A level in Classical Civilisation through the National Extension College.

I looked at many providers very carefully before I went with NEC. The fees are a bit more than others but I feel it's worth it: there is an online portal with all the materials, a chatroom for your subjects, and a personal tutor of course.

The materials are very thorough and I felt well prepared for my exams (well, we'll see come next Thursday!)

NEC came out of the same stable as the Open University many years ago -i think they're completely separate organisations now though.
