Start using Mumsnet PremiumHi, We would like to foster, but I don't speak English to my children. Would this be allowed? Obviously I would speak English to the foster child and when talking to all the children as a group.
I would speak to your Local foster agency and LA. If you live in a culturally diverse area they may see being bilingual as an advantage :-)
