I have a load of thick pork chops in the freezer, how long will they take to defrost and how do I cook them

they are not shop bought
my mate had pigs which he then slaughtered

I've never cooked a pork chop before

how do I do it?

If you get them out now they may be defrosted for tomorrows dinner time..

Just grill/pan fry them for 15-20 minutes.

but arern't they going to burm on the outside before they are done on the inside

[terrified of poisoning people and myself with not cooked meat]

can I oven cook them
wrapped in foil till near the end???

If they're really thick you could cook them on a lower heat for longer to stop them burning or even cut them in half to make them thinner?

Oven would work too

Or www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/porkcurry_75667.shtml - you chop up the chops so it wouldn't matter how thick they are...
