Won't the milk go off before the week is out?

SOunds ok, but you are going to need some fruit to go with that.
I could never get away with that!
What about breakfast cereal?

Milk keeps about 5 - 7 days in our fridge.

How many people is the shop for?

Try putting the same thing into supermarket online shopping websites to see if you got a good deal or not?

It depends what you already have.
I'd have bought fruit though definitely.

I also buy cat food in trays of 24 tins, it's the cheapest way of buying it, the sachets are really dear.

My DC would go mad at the lack of fruit/salad or green veg

Also unless you have lots of cereal/ rice etc in the cupboard breakfast and a curry might be a problem.

I spend an average of £35 a week when you divide the moth up, but that includes household stuff and toiletries, so I would say that was a good price for a weeks shop

It depends how many in the family, Do your DC have school lunches??

you would spend less if you made the sauce for your pasta. You only need tins of tomatoes, some tomato puree and an onion for a tasty sauce with mince.

are you having bolognaise 3 times this week then?

Impossible to judge without knowing the quantities.
