Can anyone recommend foods for DH who wants to put on weight healthily?

Ehm - I suppose it depends on why he wants to do that? Is he trying to put on muscle mass and exercising at the gym? Or is he just not eating enough?

I suppose he could supplement his food with snacks like nuts, dark chocolate, toasted brown bread with olive oil, add lean protein to meals, adding avocado and potatoes to his salads... Is this of any help?

He just wants to recover the 2 kg he lost on holiday when we weren't eating very much other than salads and melons because it was too hot to cook or eat.

I'd forgotten about nuts. Thanks.
