Have been toying with getting dd onto (and thus also myself) onto a vegetarian diet. Mostly because I was worried that excessive meat consumption might be playing a role inducing her early puberty. She certainly likes her meat

Am not much of a cook and not into spending a whole lot of time on it. Can anyone talk me through a typical week of simple meals for a dc on a vegetarian diet.

She doesn't mind most vegetables generally, she'll eat brown bread, white rice, noodles, potatoes, spinach, salad (NO tomatoes ever), corn, likes nuts.

Not used to things like humus, coucous, soya, beans that need to be soaked etc because I never usually bother with all that. However, am willing to change!

She never eats cheese or tomatoes, red or green peppers unless heavily disguised. Doesn't like anything spicey.

or maybe a good website on getting started with a vegetarian lifestyle? I have a couple of books but it all sounds like a lot of fiddling about and hunting around for difficult to find ingredients, also don't much fancy the recipes. Puts me off whenever I open them up.

Have you noticed the Family Meal Planner tab at the top of the page? If you click on that you will see options for regular and vegetarian meal planners.
