A Pink Cake recipe please!!

DD will be three soon, and is having a joint party with her friend who has her birthday the same day. Friend is having a cake made by expert friend cake-makerk so the competition is on - it's the only thing we are doing separately!

So being crap at making cakes, please can someone help me with a recipe for something pink, BUT not with colouring (DD has eczema which can be triggered by this) and REALLY SIMPLE and fool-proof for me!

I was thinking perhaps a strawberry cheesecake, or strawberry cake of some sort, with a princess doll stuck on top?

Help!

TIA

Thanks spin, I've no idea what type of colouring she reacts to, I just assume anything artificial. I may try the raspberried/strawberried option (whichever is reduced in Sainsbury's!). But beetroot -UCK!

I may attempt something like this with Sainsbury's finest sponges:
yeah right
