First Ocado order - what should I get??

I have placed my first ever order and am ridiculously excited
I have got til midnight to add/change things - anything I should try, I haven't got a waitrose locally and only ever had the small stacked brownies, which were fab.

Have ordered a chocolate and cognac cake, anyone tried it? We get M&S cakes usually...

Their British (obviously) strawberries are especially yummy at the moment. Get yourself a punnet or three of those.

If this is your cuppa tea, order some Caramelised Onions (like a chutney). I love them...

Gail's apple sourdough bread, Green & Blacks hazelnut chocolate spread, Waitrose butterscotch ice cream, Waitrose raspberry trifle, Bottlegreen elderflower sorbet, Waitrose Napoli Piccante salami (not sure you can get it online), Waitrose yougurt, cucumber & mint crisps, Waitrose cod & parsley fish cakes...

Beachdean ice-cream is tasty and they often have offers that make it MUCH more reasonable than G&B's. Try the ginger one.

They're doing 2 for 1 on Del Monte smoothie ice lollies at the mo (£2.29 a pack of three, but you're getting six, remember?). Bought some today, they are fab!

Cartmel Sticky Toffee puds, hard to find outside of Waitrose. Freeze well! (ask me how I know)

I know it's lazy lazy, but I really like their small freerange (organic?) pork meatballs. 2.99 for a pack of 20. They're great in Thai-stylee sauces as well as bol. sauce.

The Essential Strawberries aren't any cheaper than the other supermarkets (1.99 a punnet) but are very nice. I wouldn't buy them online though, I have to sniff the punnets individually to get the best ones. People give me looks...

Make sure you check out any special discounts for first orders. I got £15 off first, £10 off second and £5 off third order. It was 18 months ago, so can't tell you the codes, but bet they are doing something similar.

Can't do without it now - happy shopping!

Oh yes I'm getting 15% off with an evoucher thingy and I picked a 99p delivery slot [stingy cow] - been thinking of trying it for ages - don't know what to do with myself tomorrow now that I won't need to go shopping
I also had a code for £15 off but it signed you up for the delivery thing thats like amazon prime, with a 30 day free trial, and I know I'd forget to cancel.
JKK - Im sure the G&B icecream was on offer when I looked, will check.

Oh I think I'm going to be converted!

The driver rang just after 9 to see if he could come a bit early( I'd read on here that might happen so was quite chuffed) and it's fab. All in colour coded bags, good dates, eggs in one piece, nothing squashed, and all pretty great

Just got to convince DH that we can afford it regularly lol
