having about 6 toddler, probably 20+ adults (few babies)

Its this saturday, my options are :

1 - Party buffet for toddlers, sep adult buffet too ... salads, sanwiches, chicken, the usual crap

2- Party buffet for kids & BBQ for adults , but taking a chance weatherwise.

3 - Party buffet for kids and home made curry, rice, naans etc ....

What do you think?

I'd go for the easiest option which I think would be number 1.

We've had a few parties like this when the children were younger and the adults had similar to the party food plus extra things.

Option 3. And where possible, cross over.

Option 3, and allow for the toddlers wanting naan and popadums.

Just do one buffet for all.

Option three with a mild curry and plain rice for any toddlers who want it (and they would probably want the popadoms too).

I think I'm going to do curry as its easy, quicker & less messing in supermarket, ie just get stuff for curry rather than 20 diff things for all different buffet parts.

Butties, fruit, cakes etc for kids.

I work for a catering company and we did a do on Saturday for a family.

We did

Sliced roast beef
Sliced roast turkey
Coronation chicken
Melon and tiger prawn salad
Provencale salad
Green salad
Dijon mustard potato salad
Crusty bread
chicken goujons/sausages/cucumber sticks for the children

There was plenty. children hardly ate a thing as they were over excited. DO NOT go to too much trouble for the children as it will be a waste of money! Lots of drinks and some cakes will be fine.
