Not the healthiest option, but if we have leftover potatoes we quite often saute them with some slices of chorizo and throw in some steamed soya beans. Yum. You could use broad beans instead. Or bacon instead of the chorizo.

I love them too, but what I did with them today was fail to find any in the supermarket grr.(got frozen broad beans instead).

love them with 'pasta and bits' - cook some penne, bung the beans in part way through, chop up some toms and herbs and olives (maybe fry some bacon or leeks or whatever),
toss together with some parmesan.

Midnight Broadbeans are the food of the devil, yuk. But thanks for the suggestion grin

Oh yes, with pasta, they are the right texture for pasta aren't they?

Do you know, I used to think that too, but have since tasted proper fresh ones - smaller than the ghastly things we used to get given as kids. If you pop them out of their shells they're actually yum, And not dissimilar to soya beans.

So ner.

Soya Beans, cut green beans, sugar snaps with some rocket and covered in chilli dressing - very yummy salad smile
