How many bottles?

DD2 is 7 months and has5-6 bottles a day.
Should she be having one with her meals still, or should she have a beaker? And she currently has one between meals, should this still be done, or should she have a snack?

Am feeling really thick, as DD1 is only 4, so I should remember, but don't!

BTW, DD2 is on 3 meals a day, but has never drank much milk, lucky to get a pint into her.

TIAxx

My ds3 is 6.5 months and has 4 bottles a day! At 7am, 11am, 2-3pm, 7pm roughly. |He has his 3 meals separately except at 11 where he has it with hhis milk. He has 7-8oz per bottle.

My 9 month old son has 4 6 ounce bottles a day. I normally allow about an hour and a half between the food and the bottle. He has 3 meals a day. I don't think there is any right or wrong way of doing things, as long as your daughter is happy and healthy.

When my dd was 7 months she had 4 7oz bottles a day similar times to Gobblediggoks ds, I always gave them at different times to meals (and gave cooled boiled water with food in a cup) as I read somewhere that if you give milk and meat at the same time its not good for absorbing iron (or something) now my dd is 11 months she dropped the 11am bottle and has 3 a day, morning as soon as she wakes, mid afternoon and just before bed around 7pm

Thanks, GDG, that's the kind of thing I was thinking, as she is sterting to not want one of them, usually the lunchtime one.

AT this age DD was on 4 milk feeds - first thing, mid am, mid pm and bedtime. With 3 meals in between. At about 8 months she dropped the mid am feed which was replaced with a small snack. She had/has a cup with water/juice at meals.
