if just want to reheat a joint I would do it in stock - pour it over and reheat it oven. Then rather than drying out it should absorb the stock.

Why not eat it cold?

Add to stock or gravy

or reuse it as stew, casserole, soup, chilli, pie.

Don't. It will alter the flavour. Just serve cold with hot veg and gravy on warmed plates.

I mostly have it cold, either with bread & chutney, or else with bubble & squeak if there's plenty of other leftovers.

But otherwise, some sort of sauce!

I keep the left over gravy too, slice the meat pour over some gravy, cover with cling film and microwave.
