What time do you think strawberry picking places open and how much should I expect to pay per punnet?

I'm planning on going this morning but don't want to drive there to find they don't open until 10am and it's £20 per punnet.

Thanks

It's £3.50 a kilo round here, and a full trug-like thing (not a small plastic punnet) came to around £11 - easy to get carried away picking! But I used the 'spares' for a very good jam.

Hope they still have plenty left for you - I picked in lateish June.

Yes it is a bit late. And all the rain won't have helped. They tend to rot when it's very wet.

Oh damn, must remember to go earlier next year! I'll leave here at 9.45 and see how we get on. Thanks for your help everyone.

It's under cover and they're on stands does that help?

I got 6lls of misshapes for £5 -already picked.
Is it for jam?
Do you have a farmers market nearby? You might get berries there.
