I have a 750g gammon joint (the one with no fat on) which I have just bunged into my tiny slow cooker with carrots, celery, peppercorns and enough coke to nearly cover it.
Was planning on cooking on high for 5 hours before glazing and baking in the oven for 20 mins.
After much googling though I'm worried it'll be more like pulled pork rather than sliceable? Has anyone cooked it this way and it's turned out fine? Contemplating transferring it to a pot on the hob?
