Daft defrosting question - QUICK!

Ok, I never use the microwave so bear with me!

I've defrosted some chicken goujons - if they have defrosted, er, a bit too much and are hot are they still going to be edible if I cook them?

If not, I'm stuck as I made the mistake of asking playdate if he likes x,y,z and he likes nothing I have in!!!

I think they should be alright, but they might be a bit tough

They will be fine as long as you cook them thoroughly.

were they raw or pre-cooked

I'd just cook them like normal and have tomato ketchup on side .. the worst that will happen is they're a bit dry

never ask a playdate if he likes something .. he has what you're having or make him a sarnie ..

They are just shop bought ones you buy in the chiller cabinet and can be frozen. I forgot to get them out of the freezer so I've had to bung them in the microwave (HATE doing that!). I started washing up and forgot about them - the last few I left in are a bit hot as if they've started to cook!

All I'm bothered about is that they won't get food poisoning or something! THey won't notice if they are a bit tough!

I wish I hadn't blardy asked him - he refuses fish, pizza and pasta so far! I haven't even asked about the chicken - I'm just doing it now!
