What do you "make your own?"

During this lockdown we have started a lot of making our own. We usually cook from scratch, but usually skirt a few things for convenience.

Since this lockdown we have:

Made our own yoghurt (did this anyway TBH)
Sourdough starter (and bread)
Chicken Stock
Passatta

Looking for more tips as we are thoroughly getting into this.

We made our own gnocchi. They were a bit too soft but I fried them in butter and they were delicious.

Tried lots of different ways but finally settled with 12 individual jar electric yoghurt maker. I've tried all starters but now settled on buying one small pot of organic, natural plain yoghurt and using 1 teaspoon of this as a starter. Then I use the last homemade yoghurt as the next starter until about 5 batches have passed, or my DC have ignored rule of not eating last yoghurt, then buy another plain yoghurt for a starter. I use organic or non organic semi-skimmed UHT milk rather than boil/ sterilise own milk. A few cheats but we love our homemade yoghurt. It takes 9 hours to get to Greek yoghurt consistency. I've worked out that, aside form electricity, our yoghurts cost 10p each.
