Looking for creamy soup recipes...

I’ve got a soup maker but the soup always turns out watery, and frankly nothing like my.local cafe where they make the creamiest soup ever...the two recent favourites are carrot and butternut squash, and spinach, watercress and pea.
So...I’ve tried googling but can’t find what I’m looking for. What are your delicious, creamy thick soup recipes? All the better if they can be used in the soup maker but equally happy to use a pan. I’m having baby number 2 in 7 weeks so ideally I will be able to make and freeze.
Thank you in advance!

If you want a thick soup, add potato, red lentils or haricot beans and whizz it up.

They might literally be adding cream or milk!

Communist Soup is the house favourite here.
200g red lentils
1 red onion
1 jar roasted red peppers
1 table spoon harrissa paste
1 pint water/stock

Fry off onion, add harrissa paste and lentils. Give them 5 minutes. Add drained jar of peppers and a pint of stock. Simmer for 30-40 minutes and blitz.

Nice, thick and strangely meaty for a veggie soup.

What family of aliens said!

I made a lovely soup at the weekend : 2 onions, 3 potatoes, 1 sweet potato, half a head of cabbage. Saute all veg in butter/oil for 5 mins, add water just to the top of the veg, add 2 stock cubes. Simmer till veg is soft. Blend till smooth. Super creamy, but no cream!?

This is certainly creamy. And it’s delicious too! I’ve just read the comments and some people are saying it’s toooo creamy and rich so they’ve halved the amount of crime fraiche www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/12808/butternut-squash-soup-with-chilli-and-crme-frache

I think souls with (sweet) potato, lentils or beans end up lovely and creamy.

Two tablespoons of Philadelphia cream cheese in any soup maker soup make it totally delicious, when your soups ready just drop the cheese in and use the blend function!
