Hi all,

What are you feeding your Just turned one year old?

Mine has breakfast, lunch and dinner with milk in between. Should I be offering snacks in between meals at this point?

Mine has 3 meals and 2 snacks at 1 year
Breakfast : toast and wheetabix
Snack: fruit selection
Lunch : hot meal eg. Beef stew
Snack: biscuit
Dinner : hot meal: eg.curry and rice
Pudding: cake
Tea crumpet
Fruit loaf and malt loaf were really big hitters ...
now these are all the food I offered daily , weather he would eat them is a completely different story , I always offer food but don't force him , is he starts chucking it on the floor I figure he doesn't want it I eat it myself .
Some days he eats it all some days he just picks throughout the day

Wow that seems loads!

We're offering pretty much the same stuff though. I just need to get into the habit of snacks for him...

I was a food witch when mine was that age, so my snack offerings were of the virtuous kind. Example of day would have been:
B - porridge
S - something like: bit of fruit/raisins/rice cake/olives/cheese/cucumber
L - scrambled egg/ omelette/ beans/cheese on toast/picnic
S- something off morning snack list
D - same as us though not always at the same time, or a bit of whatever I had the night before. If pudding was needed(and I had them in) some yoghurt.
