Plane snacks for BLWers

All my DC have been great eaters but all BLW so very messy. I remember bringing some of those pouches on a long haul flight and DS looking at me like I was on glue and wouldn't touch it. He ended up eating what I was having as he normally would but the mess obviously was not ideal on a plane.

What can I bring for latest baby on the flight we're going on soon that won't be too insanely messy?

Fingers of bread, pitta bread or crumpet
Banana
Cucumber
Unsalted rice cakes
If you are travelling within the EU, you can take cheese, yogurt (less than 100ml) and cooked meat. Chunks of cooked chicken and babybel are good for BLW

Raisins tend to keep them occupied for a few —seconds— minutes. Individual malt loaf. Will they let you take homemade stuff? If so, mine loved these cheese straws.

banana.
pita cut into squares.
dry spirals of pasta with some cucumber and tomato chunks
cubes of cheese.
foiled wrapped some toast
soft boiled carrot and broccoli florets.
glamourgen sausages.
homemade pancake cut into strips.
scotch pancakes.
little pots of cereal.cheerios.etchostess gave us a little milk to soften them too.so they still weren't messy but easy to eat.

Just want to chime in to say I would avoid babybel cheese it has a rubbery texture and rounded shape which can be a choking hazard, my husband nearly choked on one and have avoided them ever since. Mini breadsticks and fruit pots maybe? Or slices of hard cheese.
