Meal suggestiosn for a snotty/teething 1 yr old??

DS is one - and seems to have a load of teeth comming through (I think his first molars) as well as a cold (I assume the snotty nose is from a cold as both DH and I have one) so he's been very picky about what he eats - he's normally a really good eater but apart from yeo valley yoghurt its been a struggle to get much else in him (he's not fussed about his milk either). Any suggestions for some vaguely nutrious meals that might appeal to mr. snotty and don't take too long to prepare ('cause I'm fed up with spending ages in the kitchen to scrape it in the bin!!!). Thanks for your help.

Sorry to hear ds is poorly

My dd likes finger food if she's feeling a bit grotty; ie pasta (especially tricolour fusilli), broccoli, sweetcorn, fish fingers sort of thing.
Try custard/rice pudding with pureed fruit (Frutapura really handy for this).

Good luck with it though, not easy

Thanks - fish fingers - haven't tried those yet on DS - might go and search out a packet on sunday.

i always go for finger food with a dip when ds is like this try slices of cucumber cheese tomatoes pitta bread carrot sticks and a dip (philadelphia, mayonaise, lemon juice, squirt of ketchup and dash of worcester sauce) seems to go down well.

I always make this when i'm feeling lazy too as it always looks lovely and healthy and you can put it back in the fridge for later if they refuse it
