Just that really, do you have it with any carbs or do you count the hole bit as carbs?

Have mash & veg so yes double carbs!

UnimaginativeUsername Sun 25-Feb-18 20:22:30

We have mash and veg with it (and gravy) because we don’t care about ‘double carbing’.

CherieBabySpliffUp Sun 25-Feb-18 20:22:34

Funnily enough I cooked this tonight. I did roast potatoes and veg.

retirednow Sun 25-Feb-18 20:22:46

Mash and onion gravy

Just vegetables here, the hole is the carbs.

Arapaima Sun 25-Feb-18 20:23:17

No, it already has carbs so I’d just cook veg - maybe broccoli or beans beans or something.

SweepTheHalls Sun 25-Feb-18 20:23:34

Baked beans and mash. Food of the Gods.

LikeTheShoes Sun 25-Feb-18 20:23:41

Cauliflower cheese.

Mash, greens, onion gravy. We had this for lunch today.

AnnaMagnani Sun 25-Feb-18 20:24:11

Green veg. It counts as the carbs. Usually put some apple slices in with the sausages.

Braveanddifferent Sun 25-Feb-18 20:28:02

Interesting. Partner cooked it and counts hole as carbs so no mash with it. I'm starving now. I feel a portion of mash would have been welcome.

Personally I’m not a fan, so tend to only cook it once in a blue moon, but I go somewhere down the middle with swede and carrot mash, peas and onion gravy.

CoffeebyIV Sun 25-Feb-18 22:18:20

Lots of dark green veg even better if cooked with some bacon

Mash, green veg (peas, broccoli, cabbage, etc.) and plenty of onion gravy.

DH is actually obsessed with sweetcorn so we have that.

HarrietSchulenberg Mon 26-Feb-18 19:46:50

Green veg and lots of lovely gravy.

BroomstickOfLove Mon 26-Feb-18 19:48:19

Carrots, greens and onion gravy.

ShortandAnnoying Mon 26-Feb-18 19:50:11

It doesn't need another carb but I think it's traditional to have spuds.

EllenJanethickerknickers Mon 26-Feb-18 19:54:45

Carrot and swede crush, no potato, broccoli and onion gravy. I want some now...
