Frozen deep fried tofu squares

hello - am not really a fan of tofu apart from when its been deep fried. I picked up some frozen puffs from Chinese supermarket - and was going to use today for Chinese styled dinner... but can I cook them from frozen or should I have defrosted...? (packaging doesn't say either way...!)

I grate my tofu and fry it first till crispy before adding it to sauces. This makes it nicer for. E
