Interested in trying the new Seedlip non alcoholic spirit- anyone tried them and if so, which was your favourite?

Not heard of it before, but not sure how you can distill a non-alcoholic beverage.
To not obtain alcohol after distillation it cannot have been alcoholic in the first place. So it's heat treated and concentrated... water? juice?

I've just bought the spice one & I'm pleasantly surprised that I like it. It's a reasonable substitute for gin if you have it with tonic & ice. I didn't fancy the other one as people on the Dry January thread said it tasted of peas Confused

I've tried both, and found them surprisingly delicious, and quite impressive. I preferred the Spice, which is more like actual gin, but I think the other one would be great in high summer. It kind of does taste a bit like peas, but in a good way, and there are lots of other flavours going on. I'm planning to get a bottle of the spice. It really is a good substitute for gin by the time you have added tonic and ice and a slice.

I bought DH the Garden flavour for Christmas as he doesn’t drink alcohol but wanted a nice drink that wasn’t juice or Coke. I knew he wouldn’t like the Spice flavour so went with Garden despite some of the reviews.

We both really like it, it’s very herbal and I can imagine drinking it in a spa! Tastes great with Fever Tree tonic. Don’t really like the price though.

The spice one is beautiful- avoid the green one, it's rank! It's expensive but tastes just like gin and no hangover Grin

I got some as a present last Christmas and thought it was a triumph of branding over content. It just tastes like water with a few cloves added.
