I would like my dc to eat spinach as an alternative to the other veg they eat. I cook spinach curry with potatoes which they don't like. Any ideas how to get them to try it in another way?

wilted with butter mixed w buttered leeks as side dish w fish etc; steamed added to feta cheese, tomato pastry, add into tomato sauces for pasta, layer up for lasagne, baby leaves in salads

love it...try not to overcook...

I suppose it's one of those veg that I'm goingto have to hide in other dishes. I though they might like spinach and feta parcels but they aren't keen on any type of pastry.

DS likes spinach cooked on pizza, chopped in an omlette with cheese, stirred through rice with small pieces of feta also melted in, and finely chopped in quiche.

The secret with spinach is to cook it with plenty of either butter or ollive oil, and add salt - and I like a bit of nutmeg in with it.

buy frozen spinach, it comes in a big bag of cubes

every time you cook something like a tomato sauce for pasta, soup, curry, lasagne, spag bol, the list is endless, add a cube or 2 of the spinach, straight from the freezer

I've got fresh spinach in the fridge and dh has gone away for 4 days on short notice so I thought I'd try some non-spinach curry recipes. Do you reckon I could freeze half of the fresh stuff or do you have to cook first?
Great ideas b ythe way, thanks.
