I've finally got a slow cooker!

After reading so many great things about them I've finally got a slow cooker! There are so many great recipes I don't know where to start! Any suggestions????? My husband isn't keen on fish and I tend to prefer lower fat meals if that's not too much to ask?????

Yeah, don't get too excited. They're more for convenience than making delicious dishes.

I only do casserole/stew type things in mine, made to a regular recipe but with far less liquid. Brown any meat you use and also fry onions well before putting in the slow cooker to avoid flavourless disappointments.

I use mine a lot in the winter more for ease than deliciousness - stew, pie mix etc. As Shatners said - normal recipient, less liquid.

I have heard amazing things about instant pot. Agree that slow cooker is convenient but not great tasting
