A cooking one

Hi all,

I feel like such a dummy for posting this. I found a recipe online for the slow cooker. It says to add wine to the stock.

I'm hoping my 4 year old and 22 month old will have some tonight. I've added the wine now and it's cooking away. Will it be safe? I believe the alcohol content boils off but I'm still bothered about it now. I lifted the lid off the slow cooker, it smells wine-y as hell!

I feel like such a fool. Can someone reassure me or tell me i shouldn't be giving my kids this food?

The only problem I ever had was things with wine in tended to give my DS a bit of a ripe bottom!! I think it's a bit rich but other than that, I would've be worried.

Thanks Blue. If I can get them to Luke the taste that would be good but I doubt they will. I'm regretting putting the wine in now. Probably would have been just as nice if not nicer without
