Mauritian curry recipe PLEASE

Please help if you can! My mum is coming over from Canada on Saturday. Bless her, she's very much like Mrs Bucket (aka Mrs Bouquet) and she is quite a fussy eater but lives curry. Myfamy all love a good curry but I'll admit I have no idea what I'm doing. I really don't want to use s jar and would love a specific recipe I can use again and again.
In my younger days I went to nursing college and there were a fair few Mauritian there. They all cooked one specific gorgeous curry, almost like a soup. It was with chicken and potato and was tomatoey and watery but bloomin divine. I would love this recipe xx If any of you geniuses have this recipe I'd so appreciate it or an alternative. Tomatoey and spicy with chicken or maybe prawns?? ThNkyou so much in advance xxxxx

@Tweetypie19 was this the recipe you wanted? I've been checking back, but from your description I was hopeful!

This is a good recipe but I also add 2tspn ground cumin once the chicken has browned a bit and before adding the tomatoes. Also adding curry leaves when frying the onions. Oh and add chillis too.

Side splitting lol, I will definitely be trying this one as it sounds very much like the version I would eat at nursing college. I would sometimes help my friends to make it. I really appreciate the recipe. X

Oh I'm stealing this recipe! We used to order it from a local restaurant before they closed and it was amazing!
