Hi Guys!!

In need of some help. For someone silly reason I have agreed to cook this weekend for a guy I'm dating, don't ask me why, I am a terrible cook Blush

Anyway, I need to rule out lasagne as this is a bit of a joke we have(everyone says they can cook lasagne ha!)

Next catch is..... he is fussy!!! No seafood, no veg (other than peas), no mushrooms, doesn't really like onions Hmm you see the issue?

I need a recipe that is fun and easy, but not chicken nuggets and chips. Our go to meal when we eat out is pie and mash. How easy is it to make pie, any good recipes out there?

That said, I'm not limited to pie. I'm definitely up for experimenting and opening his taste buds to more fun things?

I would do a Mexican theme, so chilli, rice, guacamole, nachos etc.

You could even buy Mexican hats and a stick on moustacheGrin

I was going to say Mexican too!

Or steak, chips and peas?

Or just get a takeaway....

Lemony garlic roast chicken, peas, olive oil mash, ready-bought posh gravy.

Chicken & chorizo & new potato/sweet potato traybake - salad for you to go with.

Pie is really easy - ready bought puff pastry & an easy filling and jobs a good un. With chips or mash, and peas!

Ready-filled pasta with chicken, creams fraiche, peas, bit of pesto perhaps too.
