I need to bake and cook things because the fridge freezer has broken down. Any tips on what to do with the following?

- Frozen mixed peppers
- Frozen chopped onions
- 4 pint bottle of whole milk
- Fat free natural yoghurt
- Packet of frozen Black Forest fruits
- Frozen peas

I'm a single mother to a one year, so would preferably like quick, easy and cheap recipes. smile

Well you could do fajitas or soup with the peppers and onions - or a frittata into which you could put peas too
Whiz together the yoghurt and fruit for smoothies
Use the milk for custard or rice pudding or macaroni cheese

Won't those all go off without a fridge though?

Make a vegetable egg fried rice with the frozen veg.

Isn't rice something that should go in th fridge once cooked? I have no money and there is no help available, so I need recipes that don't need a fridge.

Sorry - I thought you were literally just going to use up as much as you could straight away and bin the rest

Do you have a neighbour who could maybe let you have some space in theirs?

Given how cold it is you could make soup and leave it in the garage or somewhere similarly cold overnight

You could make muffins with the yoghurt and forest fruits ....forest fruits crumble...

Pea soup. Just fry off some onions, add peas and water/stock, bring to boil for few minutes, then blitz. Sure that'd be ok not fridged for a bit.

Scones with the milk.

Thanks. I have horrible neighbours so that's a no go. No garage. Coldest room in house is the kitchen, I guess.
