Hi, I need to buy a couple of bottles of white wine at the weekend for a party. Can anyone recommend anything that is good quality and not too pricey? Thanks.

The NZ Pinot Gris is lovely and about £5.50.

This stuff is delicious. Tastes more like a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc than a Chardonnay, very very easy to drink.

Thank you both, these both sound lovely and reasonably priced too.

Anything from their Exquisite range is excellent.

Another vote for the Pinot Grigio mentioned above.

My wife and I did our shopping at Asda, Sainsbury's and Waitrose but have now switched to Aldi for everything with the occasional shop at Asda.

I would like to recommend the Grande Alberone Chardonnay from Italy. It has a fancy label and the wine is very tasty with a hint of sweetness but not too much.

I always grab a bottle for £4.99 from my local Aldi.

I like Kooliburra Chardonnay (£3.99) and Toro Loco red, think it's a Tempranillo but at £3.69 you can't go wrong!

For something fizzy, the gold label prosecco is lovely and it's just over a fiver a bottle.
