Please signpost me to better topic if can think of one
I Am having trouble with kids lunches
They often come back uneaten
Mainly because the sandwiches are squished or all of a sudden don't like them
Is there any good bento type boxes that are affordable and able to get in British shops, and that fit into their thermal lunch bags
Also trying to get balance with grain, veg, protein etc is hard for fussy Eater- Again that's practical and affordable
I usually do ham/ chicken Sandwich or wrap, frozen frube, piece fruit, and carrot stick- with popcorn or go ahead or bel Vida biscuit as treat
Also do brioche for morning snack usually
They hate humus, any better dip ideas?
There is no chill area sonny lunchtime I think the lunch is warmed and unappetising for my oldest girl- who is very fussy 7yo

I find the Sistema boxes good. They have loads of different sizes, with different compartments many fit inside most of the thermal lunch bags. Salsa or cream cheese make good dips, I also make a bean pate which can also be used as a dip.
You say they are fussy, in what way?
Will they eat tuna pasta with sweetcorn?
Falafel and pittas?
If they eat wraps have you tried quasedillas?
Cheese and crackers?
Frittata
Cous cous and roasted veg salad with feta?
Bagel and cream cheese
Savoury muffin or savoury flapjack.
Is it possible for them to take a food flask with hot food? That would open up even more possibilities.

Buy some flexible ice pack sheets: they will keep the food cooler longer.

Savoury muffins had some success for me- cheese and thyme from the mn cookbook

Bagels go down well

Canellini bean dip and crudetes

I'm experimenting with soup on a flask with a roll next week- hopefully it will go down better than the rejected sandwiches and wraps.

I use a sistema sandwich tub for ds's roll/bagel. I use smaller tubs for fruit so they don't get squashed too.
