Ocado .... please explain?

So I have never used Ocado, but am I right in saying that rather than getting shopping from one supermarket it's a warehouse that stocks all supermarket ranges? So in my shopping I can have from Sainsbury's, Asda etc?

No, Ocado stocks it's own range, some of Waitrose range and some commercial producers ranges, it doesn't stock Sainsburys TTD etc. Why not look on the website to see what it stocks?

They stock Waitrose stuff, plus their own brand and lots of other random household things (toaster etc), toys, John Lewis baby clothes. Really good ordering and delivery compared to others but pricey.

As per PP, they stock Ocado own-brand, Waitrose own-brand, and all the normal brands like Persil, Andrew etc. The main difference between them and other supermarkets is that because stuff comes straight from their warehouse rather than being picked off a supermarket shelf, they can tell you exactly what they've got in stock in real time, so you hardly ever get substitutions.

Pros: huge selection, quick, reliable, hardly any substitutions, price match Tesco
Cons: will never be quite as cheap as the economy range in Tesco/Sainsbury's/Asda or Lidl/Aldi.

No. they are warehouse based but stock ocado own brand, Waitrose goods and branded produce. Heinz, Kellogg's etc etc. No other 'supermarkets' are stocked.

Morrisons use ocado's software but are an entirely different warehouse. Same principle though.
