Sundays roast in a slow cooker?

Can this be done?
Has anyone tried? Did it taste as nice?

Been craving a Sunday roast for weeks. Just feeling very very lazy this weekend plus want to start using my slow cooker again.

Any advice muchly appreciated!

my mum used to slow cook lots of joints and then finish them off under the grill or in the oven. personally my slow cooker doesn't do whole chicken....but maybe a lamb joint or beef/pork if you like it long and slow?
