Rubber jam!

My jam has come out so rubbery I could use it as a trampoline!
I don't have a sugar thermometer so had to guesstimate the setting temperature. It's the first time I've cooked it up tbh.
Can I boil it down with water to make it right or shall I just slice and serve with some sort of pudding.
It's blackcurrant btw.
Thanks. Blush

I don't think you can boil it down once it's set, although if you boiled it down with water it would make a fruity sauce to serve with ice cream etc.

Could you cut circles out with a cutter and dust with sugar to make sweets like those fruit jellies you used to get in boxes at Christmas? They were delicious :)

There's a thought!
Or maybe jammy dodger type biscuits.
