Slow cooker Rissoto

Wow! I ordered the mumsnet "top banana" cookbook and got it today, this evn I got I made the slow cooker risotto for my dd and I...she's a ridiculously slow eater...tiny portions..she demolished two big bowls full Otis, and I absolutely enjoyed it! I added butternut squash and bacon to the recipe but it was super easy and mega tasty!! Does anyone have any other super recipes to share please? X

I never thought of making risotto in a slow cooker. Is it easy?

So so easy! I love it so much! I had leftovers tonight as Rissoto balls! Will post the recipe! Basically just frying onions leeks and garlic (and I added bacon and butternut squash) stirring in the rice for a couple of minutes and bunting in the slow cooker with mushrooms and stock for 2 hours! Was insanely good! X

Thank you I am going to give that a go. Had risotto (prawns peas and basil) last night and it was arm-achingly slow.
