Is this a good lunch for a 1 year old?

Not always got enough food in... He often ends up having things like this for lunch. Is that good enough for a 12 month old? Sometimes he'll reject certain things on the plate. Should I be giving him more "proper meals" or is this kind of thing okay?

Don't worry about 'proper meals', I'm 34 and I'd prefer a mix of things to a proper meal! :)

What about some houmous/dip and a boiled egg, just to add more choice?

Looks absolutely fine to me too. If you often don't have enough in, try things from the cupboard to like sardines on toast or you could try a one egg omelette. Leftovers are fine as well Smile

I give my 18 month old something like that if we're out and about - we tend to have picnic lunches 3/4 times a week - I would put a bit more variety on there but looks ok
